Injury Insurance

Players who placed a wager on a single pre-game NBA or NFL straight bet that settles as LOSS as a result of an injury by what ESPN BET deems as eligible for Injury Insurance are eligible for 100% insurance on the specific wager paid back in Bonus Bet(s) (defined below). If the Injury Insurance is part of a pre-game Parlay, Same Game Parlay (SGP) or Teaser, the remaining legs of the wager will remain open, and the odds of the wager will be recalculated excluding the leg the qualifies for the Injury Insurance.

 

The “Injury Insurance” (“Promotion”) is subject to the Promotional Terms and Conditions (“Promotion Terms”) of ESPN BET, which can be viewed at ESPN BET Help Center > Legal > Promotional Terms and Conditions, and the following:

How It Works (short terms)

  • Opt-in Requirement: Opt-in is not required.
  • Eligibility: Available to select ESPN BET players who recently placed a qualifying cash wager and/or qualifying parlay wager (Eligible Wagers defined below) involving an Eligible Game that settled as a LOSS as the result of an injury.
  • Eligible Games: At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, any game, matchup, or event available on ESPN BET where one team/side/player LOSES as a result of an injury may be deemed as eligible for Injury Insurance.
  • Eligible Wager: Pre-game single straight CASH wagers on one team/side/player of an Eligible Game that settles as a LOSS can be eligible for Injury Insurance. Wagers included in a pre-game Parlay, Same Game Parlay (SGP) or Teaser are also eligible.
  • Promotion Offer: At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, 100% of cash wagered of the losing Eligible Straight Wager(s) will be refunded in the form of Bonus Bet(s).
    • If the Injury Insurance is part of a Parlay, Same Game Parlay (SGP) or Teaser, the remaining legs of the wager will remain open, and the odds of the wager will be recalculated excluding the leg the qualifies for the Injury Insurance. Bonus Bets will only be issued for Straight Wagers.
    • Individual Bonus Bet value will vary at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. In no event will the player’s awarded Bonus Bet value be less than the stated value.
    • Bonus Bets are bonus funds which may only be used on ESPN BET. Wagering with Bonus Bets makes no deductions from your cash balance. Wagers with Bonus Bets that settle as a WIN will only return the winnings to the player in withdrawable cash. For more information on Bonus Bets please see Sections 9 and 11 or visit our Bonus page.
    • Promotion Period: The Promotion will begin at 9:00:00 AM ET on September 4, 2025 and end at 11:59:59 PM ET on December 31, 2025.

 

Additional Terms

  • Bonus Bets will be applied to the player’s Account within 72 hours and must be used within seven (7) days of receipt.

Promotion Period

The Promotion will begin at 9:00:00 AM ET on September 4, 2025 and end at 11:59:59 PM ET on December 31, 2025.

 

Eligibility

  1. Available to select ESPN BET players who recently placed a qualifying cash wager (Eligible Wagers defined below) involving an Eligible Game that settled as a LOSS as the result of an injury by what ESPN BET deems as eligible for Injury Insurance.

Action Required

Players must have placed a single pre-game straight CASH wager on one team/side/player of an Eligible Game that settles as a LOSS to be eligible for Injury Insurance. If the Injury Insurance is part of a pre-game Parlay, Same Game Parlay (SGP) or Teaser, the remaining legs of the wager will remain open, and the odds of the wager will be recalculated excluding the leg the qualifies for the Injury Insurance. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, the Eligible Game must settle as a LOSS as a result of an injury by what the Sponsor deems as eligible for Injury Insurance.

 

Claiming Promotion Offer

At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, 100% of cash wagered of the losing Eligible Wager(s) will be refunded in the form of Bonus Bet(s). Registration Procedures

To qualify for the Promotion, eligible individuals must have successfully registered for an Account on ESPN BET, as defined in the Terms of Use. Creating an Account on ESPN BET is free. By submitting your information and creating an Account, however, participants will be required to agree to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, you cannot create an Account or participate in this Promotion. 

Limitations on Participation

In addition to the Eligibility requirements outlined in Section 3, the Sponsor reserves the right to refuse or otherwise restrict your eligibility to participate in any Promotion for any reason, in its sole discretion, including based on your wagering patterns or wagering history or if you failed to take advantage of any previous Promotion in good faith. This Promotion is void where prohibited by law.  Participants may be required to sign paperwork issued by Sponsor to receive any reward. Wagering Requirements/Exclusions

Any Action Required completed outside of the Promotion Period, or wagers that are settled using the live “Cash Out” feature are excluded from this Promotion. Unless otherwise specified by Sponsor, this Promotion may not be combined with any other promotional offer. 

  1. Order of Funds Used for Wagering
  2. Unless otherwise selected, the player’s cash balance will be used first to place wagers.
  3. Bonus Bets may be wagered on eligible ESPN BET markets and must be manually selected in your betslip window when placing a wager. 

 

Eligible Games

At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, any game, matchup, or event available on ESPN BET where one team/side/player LOSES as a result of an injury may be deemed eligible for Injury Insurance. Promotion Offer may be wagered on any market or game available on ESPN BET.

Restrictions on Withdrawal

Bonus funds awarded are not transferable and cannot be substituted except in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Bonus funds may only be used for wagering on your Account. Bonus funds may not be withdrawn from your Account until they have been converted to withdrawable cash.

 

Bonus Bet funds are eligible to be wagered in line with all the following requirements (“Bonus Bet Requirements”) in order to be converted to withdrawable real cash:

  • Bonus Bet funds can be redeemed on any markets, including straights, parlays, and futures.
  • Bonus Bets may only be redeemed one at a time.
  • Winnings will automatically convert to real cash upon bet settlement.
  • Bonus Bets cannot be used on any Casino games.

 

Cancellation

To cancel participation in this or any promotion, contact customer support by email at support@espnbet.com with your cancellation request. Upon cancellation, you may withdraw any funds you have deposited into your account without restriction. However, any bonus funds in your account must be converted to cash before it may be withdrawn.

Other Terms

  1. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Promotion Terms, these Terms and Conditions shall govern and prevail.
  2. All promotions are subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and general Terms and Conditions.
  3. You may only have one (1) active Account at any time.
  4. By accepting the Promotion Offer or any reward, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion offer.
  5. Offer subject to regulatory approval. Void where prohibited by law.
  6. Sponsor expressly reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice or consent. Administration of this Promotion is at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
  7. Sponsor reserves the right to restrict at any time any Account holder from participating in this Promotion for any reason. Any questions relating to eligibility, these Terms and Conditions or any other questions concerning this Promotion will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and its decisions will be final and binding with respect thereto. No groups, clubs, corporations, companies, partnerships, or organizations may participate in this Promotion or reproduce or distribute any portion of these Terms and Conditions to their members.
  8. Any Account holder who is found to be ineligible to play on ESPN BET immediately forfeits any Promotion Offer or reward.
