If I bet on a starting pitcher’s strikeout but he does not start the game, does my bet void?
The starting pitcher must throw the first pitch for their team for the wager to be graded.
What is an MLB Total Bases prop?
Total bases refer to the number of bases gained by a batter through his hits. A batter records one total base for a single, two total bases for a double, three total bases for a triple, and four total bases for a home run.
If the player you bet on draws a walk, steals, or advances on a play, does NOT count as a total base.
What happens to my wager if the game gets postponed due to weather?
If a regular season event is suspended, then wagers that have already been determined will be graded as such, while those that are yet to be fully determined will be deemed no action if the event does not resume and complete within 48 hours of its start time.
- For example, if a player wagers on the Mets' 1st inning 3-way Moneyline, this wager will be graded if the 1st inning has already been determined.
- If a player wagers on the Yankees' Runline and 5 innings within the game has not been completed, the wager would be deemed no action.
If a regular season event is postponed, all markets are considered void unless the match starts on the scheduled day (local time).
How many innings need to be played for an MLB game to be official?
All MLB games need to finish 5 innings for it to be considered an official game.
What happens to my wagers if the game is completed in 5 innings due to weather?
In the scenario that the number of innings is reduced from the scheduled number, Money Line wagers will only be considered as action after 5 completed innings, or 4.5 completed innings if the team batting second is leading at that point.
In the scenario that the number of innings is reduced from the scheduled number, “Run Line” and “Totals” wagers are considered as action after 9 completed innings, or 8.5 completed innings if the team batting second is leading at that point.
Double Header Information
Different leagues have different rules for lengths of Double Headers:
- MLB: 9 innings
- MiLB: 7 innings unless playoffs
- NCAA: 9 innings unless agreed upon by both coaches beforehand which isn't uncommon
- KBO: 9 innings
- NPB: 9 innings
- CPBL: 7 innings in general
Odds will reflect the length of games and will be graded based on the pre-determined amount of innings
Mercy Rule
In competitions where the “Mercy Rule” is used, if this rule is invoked, then wagers on all markets are considered as action.
