ESPN BET Bristol Experience T&Cs (the “Terms and Conditions”)

 

To celebrate the rebranding launch of Barstool Sportsbook to ESPN BET, we are offering new and existing users a chance to win a tour of the ESPN Headquarters in Bristol, CT. To enter, input your email address into the ESPN BET pre-launch landing page AND then download and register (if a new player) or download and log in to the ESPN BET app (if an existing player) once the app has officially launched. By completing these steps, you gain entry into the random drawing for the ESPN BET Bristol Experience.

 

The “ESPN BET Bristol Experience” (“Promotion”) is subject to the Promotional Terms and Conditions (“Promotion Terms”), which can be viewed at Sportsbook Help Center > Legal > Promotional Terms and Conditions, and the following:

 

 

  1. Description of Promotion

How It Works (short terms)

  • Opt-in Requirement: No opt-in required.
  • Eligibility: Available to new players AND existing players in AZ, CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, TN, VA, or WV.
  • Eligible Actions: 
    • Step 1: Input your email address into the appropriate box on the ESPN BET pre-launch landing page espnbet.com prior to the official launch of the ESPN BET app. Existing players should use the email address associated with their already existing Barstool Sportsbook account.
    • Step 2: 
      • For new players: Once the ESPN BET app has officially launched, download the ESPN BET app and register an account using the same email address used on the ESPN BET pre-launch landing page. Players must successfully complete registration within 10 days following the launch of the ESPN BET app.
      • For existing players: Once the ESPN BET app has officially launched, download and successfully log in to your account, accessing the new ESPN BET platform within 10 days following the launch of the ESPN BET app.
  • Promotion Offer: Players who complete the Eligible Actions will receive one (1) entry into the random drawing for the ESPN BET Bristol Experience held at the ESPN Headquarters in Bristol, CT. A total of five (5) winners will be randomly selected and emailed to confirm them as the winners of the ESPN Studio Experience. Each winner will be able to bring one (1) guest. The ESPN Studio Experience includes the following (Approximate Retail Value $4,200):
    • Accommodation: 2x nights stay at the nearest DoubleTree in Bristol, CT for each winner and their travel companion (one room, double occupancy) in the form of Hilton Gift Cards (Approximate Retail Value $1,000)
    • Travel: $3,000 in American Airline gift cards for travel and $100 in Uber voucher(s) (Approximate Retail Value $3,100)
    • The ESPN Studio Experience will include a 60–90 minute tour of the studio, complimentary breakfast and lunch, introductions to select studio staff, as well as planned activities. Each winner and their guest will also receive ESPN BET merchandise which may include hats, hoodies, etc. (Approximate Retail Value $100)
    • Additional Considerations:
      • The ESPN Studio Experience date will be determined by the Sponsor and communicated via email. Winners must respond promptly to Sponsor’s request regarding the Studio Experience. Travel arrangements must be secured by the Winner.
      • Footage will be taken from the day and shared via ESPN/ESPN BET social channels 
      • All winners and guests must be 21+ in order to participate in the ESPN Studio Experience AND must pass a background check conducted by ESPN Global Security in order to be eligible for the Promotion Offer. All winners and guests must complete and return travel release and waiver form prior to participating in the ESPN Studio Experience.
      • All other costs and expenses relative to participation in the ESPN Studio Experience not specified herein are not included and are solely the winner's responsibility.
      • No cash or other prize substitution, assignment or transfer of prizes permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable value or greater value.  THE WINNER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE.
  • Promotion Period: Players must complete Step 1 by the official date/time of the ESPN BET launch (11/14/2023 9:00 AM ET). Once the ESPN BET officially launches, players will have 10 days to complete Step 2.

 

Additional Terms

  • Arrangements, experiences and activities at ESPN are subject to change. 
  • Vouchers and gift cards awarded are subject to all third-party terms and conditions.
  • Drawing: The random drawing for the ESPN Studio experience will be completed within thirty (30) days after the ESPN BET launch, and the winners will be determined using a random number generator. After the winners have been randomly selected, the player will be contacted by the Sponsor via email associated with their ESPN BET account, and will have 48 hours to respond and claim the Promotion Offer. If a winner does not claim the Promotion Offer within 48 hours, they will forfeit their right to claim the Promotion Offer and a new winner will be randomly selected to take their place. Maximum of three (3) redraws. Players must be subscribed to email in order to be considered for the drawing. In the event that the maximum redraw limit is reached, the remaining spot(s) will be hand filled at the Sponsor’s discretion. Each player is limited to one (1) winning draw. If the same player is selected twice, a new player will be selected for that winning drawing spot.
  • To cancel participation in this or any promotion, contact customer support by email at support@barstoolsportsbook.com prior to the official launch of ESPN BET or support@espnbet.com after the official launch of ESPN BET, with your cancellation request. Upon cancellation, you may withdraw any funds you have deposited into your account without restriction or Play Through Requirements.

  • Must be physically present in AZ, CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, TN, VA, or WV in order to register, log in, and qualify for the Promotion Offer.
  • This Promotion is offered by Penn Sports Interactive, LLC and its affiliates (collectively, the “Sponsor”).

  1. Claiming Promotion Offer

  1. Registration Procedures

To qualify for the Promotion, eligible individuals must have successfully registered for an Account on ESPN BET, as defined in the Terms of Use. Creating an Account on ESPN BET is free. By submitting your information and creating an Account, however, participants will be required to agree to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.  If you do not agree to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, you cannot create an Account or participate in this Promotion. 

 

  1. Limitations on Participation

In addition to the Eligibility requirements outlined in Section 3, the Sponsor reserves the right to refuse or otherwise restrict your eligibility to participate in any Promotion for any reason, in its sole discretion, including based on your wagering patterns or wagering history or if you failed to take advantage of any previous Promotion in good faith.  This Promotion is void where prohibited by law.  Participants may be required to sign paperwork issued by Sponsor  to receive any reward.   1. Wagering Requirements/Exclusions

Any Action Required (see Section 4) completed outside of the Promotion Period are excluded from this Promotion. Unless otherwise specified by Sponsor, this Promotion may not be combined with any other promotional offer. 

 

  1. Order of Funds Used for Wagering
  • Unless otherwise selected, the player’s cash balance will be used first to place wagers.

To cancel participation in this or any promotion, contact customer support by email at support@barstoolsportsbook.com prior to the official launch of ESPN BET or support@espnbet.com after the official launch of ESPN BET, with your cancellation request. Upon cancellation, you may withdraw any funds you have deposited into your account without restriction. However, any bonus funds in your account must be converted to cash before it may be withdrawn.

  • In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Promotion Terms, these Terms and Conditions shall govern and prevail. 
  • All promotions are subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and general Terms and Conditions.
  • You may only have one (1) active Account at any time.
  • By accepting the Promotion Offer or any reward, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion offer.
  • Offer subject to regulatory approval.  Void where prohibited by law.
  • Sponsor expressly reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice or consent. Administration of this Promotion is at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. 
  • Sponsor reserves the right to restrict at any time any Account holder from participating in this Promotion for any reason. Any questions relating to eligibility, these Terms and Conditions or any other questions concerning this Promotion will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and its decisions will be final and binding with respect thereto. No groups, clubs, corporations, companies, partnerships, or organizations may participate in this Promotion or reproduce or distribute any portion of these Terms and Conditions to their members.
  • Any Account holder who is found to be ineligible to play on ESPN BET immediately forfeits any Promotion Offer or reward.
